Never "never mind"

Some time ago I did not know my reality. After some years of studies I can comprehend a little bit more what happens around my life. I never noticed what compose my world. I walked down the streets and did not have a critical mind. It is hard to see what it is wrong in my society. Most of the people are used to live and see those problems right in front of them but they never question that situation. They just think it is normal, and nobody can change that. That is a kind of usual thought. Some people do not wonder why there are so many beggars on the streets, or why there is so much dirty and poverty. Now I that I have read and studied, and also dialogued with my professors and colleges I see that people are taught not to question why things are like that. They are taught just to live their own lives and never mind about the other people’s lives. That is what the system that governs our country wants from us. If we think everything is all right, we will not have the need to question and fight for a better human condition to the rest of the population. It is hard to change people’s minds mainly when they never learned what makes the society truly. I know I may not change the whole world, but I can change something right beside me, and if I do that, I have already contributed to turn part of this world into a better situation. In spite of all the wrong things I see, I still have faith in people. Only people can change people. Only we can change the world into a better place.
