A Wish to Rebuild

I feel like I’m caged

I’m trying to find a place where I can breathe

I just want to be saved

And see the open ways in front of me

I just want to hold your hand

And feel freedom’s finally come

But like a drop of water in the sand

Hope seems to be gone

Sometimes we try to hide the truth

But we only get more disappointed

Sometimes all we wait is for nothing

Until the day we have to say

A unique word that may change everything else

Sometimes we plead and pray

Sometimes we lose the path, the way

And have to face a new day

A new day with no purposes

With no consequences we think life’s going to guide us to the perfect end.

We just don’t know how to behave when the world under our feet is falling down,

And just wish a new opportunity to rebuild what should be done long ago.
