The Picture

Mankind wants to dominate everything. During the last century, humans developed technology pretty fast. Suddenly we got ourselves around a huge amount of new technological appliances. For this reason, human beings were able to navigate different fields which were unaware before.

We may say humanity finds out new information about the universe outer and inner the solar system everyday. But we still have doubts that seem to trick us with unanswered questions. Then, all we can do is speculate how such things happened or happen.

Are we supposed to know everything? Are we too young to find out all the mysteries concerned to life? Maybe these questions must remain. Otherwise, we would not have any quests to understand. Anyway, we have to understand the past to speculate how the future will be. It is part of the game. But which game do way play? And who’s on our side? Actually, we don’t play any game. This is just a matter of creation or evolution, maybe.

But we keep training our robots. And the robots are part of creation or evolution. Basically, what once was fiction becomes reality and what once was reality becomes memory. Hope we still have time to cherish our memories. Otherwise we might lose our sense of humanity.

Everyday I look at the sky. Well, I don’t know what I look for. But I must be after something. Something I don’t expect. Some things are hard to get through. But maybe they are just rumors. Technology hasn’t solved many of our problems yet. And it won’t. Not because of technology itself, but because of its owner. There’s too much greed in human heart, simply because we don’t get satisfied with the word ‘enough’. We always want more. And this builds up inside of ourselves and we can’t control this wish. This way we take from the others what we already have.

In spite of its mystery, I know what this life is for. This life is for evolution. But evolution doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice lives for it. This life is for consciousness. This life is for dignity, compassion and love. But it seems, although we possess so much technology, we are unaware of theses values. Some don’t really care about having a world in peace. It’s none of their business. Well, life is of our business. Now imagine 6.000.000.000 people trying to dominate each other. Wouldn’t we have chaos on Earth? And it wouldn’t be necessary a meteor to cause it. Humans themselves cause the chaos. If only a few people who run some companies cause so much trouble in the world!

But I have no right to criticize anybody. We are all part of the same picture. In this picture, some will live longer, some will die soon, some we’ll laugh, others will cry... Just remember we must care about the one who took this picture.
